In July, 2007 our congregation
changed its name from Guthrie Memorial Adventist Chapel to
Guthrie Memorial Chapel.
Although our congregation started with
the name GUTHRIE MEMORIAL ADVENTIST CHAPEL in August of
2001, the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, in
2007, forced us (under threat of legal action) to remove
the word ADVENTIST from our church's name. However, please
know that our belief in both the seventh-day Sabbath and
the second coming of Christ, is just as strong as ever. WE
HAVE NOT CHANGED OUR BELIEFS! The following letters will
